ESCAPE 2020 HAS SADLY BEEN CANCELLED

The long summer holidays are great, but sometimes it can seem like there’s a lot of time to fill. So, why not come and escape with us to our fabulous Manor House in the beautiful Herefordshire countryside!

There’ll be a host of fun activities including combat archery, kayaking and rafting, as well as lots of sports, games and crafts. All that, plus chilled afternoons in the sun, and nights out under the stars around the bonfire. We’ll keep you entertained all day with a huge choice of things to do indoors and out, delicious food to eat and great people to get to know.

We’ll also take time each day to escape from the hectic schedule for a few minutes to look at the Bible together. Whether you're a Christian or not, you'll find these short times thought-provoking and unpressured.

You're very welcome to join us on Escape if you are coming alone (we promise you'll not be alone for very long at all!), with friends, with a brother/sister, or even with a group from your church. Escape will suit just about everybody.

Escape to the country

Escape 2018 is once again running at Gaines Manor - Camp XL's fabulous Georgian manor house in the heart of the English countryside on the Worcester/Hereford border.

Sleeping accommodation will be in one of the manor house's several bunk-bedded dorms. The house also has lots of recreational facilities - indoor and out - and several acres of grounds to enjoy.

If coming by train, you'll need to get yourself to either of Worcester's two mainline rail stations: "Worcester Shrub Hill" or "Worcester Foregate Street". Let us know what train you're on, and we'll send one of our team to pick you up for the 10 mile drive out to the countryside where our manor house sits.
